Starting with the first branch of this specialization, Chi Burst (0,85s to cast / 30s cooldown), as the faculty itself explains, it damages all the enemies that we have in front of us after a short cast. Talents in yellow: they can become the best depending on which fights, in this case, they are the best for single-objective encounters. As in the previous guide, choose the ones that you like the most or are close to your possibilities. Next I will leave you several ways to face your enemies and different ways of developing the encounters, be it massive objectives or encounters with just one objective. Rushing Jade Wind has seen its damage increased by 22%.There have been no changes in this patch.This specialization lacks skills that consistently give you area aggro.It maintains its damage during the encounter.It has quite useful abilities to reduce the damage it takes in addition to being very powerful against individual targets. It has many powers to travel long distances in a short time. It's one of the most mobile specs in the game.To summarize: I think your stat priorities are actually dead-on, I just like to see them elaborated on because figuring out the nuances of each stat is one of the toughest parts of the Brewmaster learning curve.and, as you can probably tell, they just plain fascinate me.Brewmaster Monks use their energy drinks and unpredictable combat style to absorb large amounts of pain. Realistically there's not really any Patchwerk fights in SoO where you're not gonna have enough downtime to not energy cap in some way or another (Malkorok being the only exception I can think of), and while being able to purify almost every melee swing you take is fun, it's not gonna matter if you have low mastery and take a bunch of that damage upfront to begin with, or have low crit and aren't just dodging as many attacks as you could have. As I described, Haste interplays with Crit and Mastery in some interesting ways, such that it becomes more valuable as you stack Crit and Mastery, but still doesn't really match them point for point. I've talked up haste in three of these four bullet points, though to be fair I wouldn't say you should rate it as any more valuable than you have. The only reliable way you can increase the frequency of the procs is through the stats that increase your DPS without increasing your AP, which are Crit (those huge Keg Smashes!) and to a lesser extent Haste (purely through autoattack rate). Explain that the frequency with which these Guards proc depends on you putting out a certain amount of damage which scales with your attack power, such that changes in your AP don't drastically change the frequency of the procs. Haste and Crit both increase the frequency of your Ox Statue Guards. Haste increases your autoattack speed, and thus your generation of Elusive Brew charges (though not to the same extent as Crit). Haste, Hit, and Expertise all increase the frequency with which you can purify, since they directly effect your Chi generation. It's easy for newer players to think that Attack Power only matters for DPS, but it provides a ton of mitigation and selfhealing for Brewmasters! Mastery increasing stagger is obvious, but a few facts tend to escape novice brewmasters, such as:Īgility increases attack power, which is obvious, but AP scales a lot of abilities: your Guards, your Ox Statue's Guards on others, your selfhealing via Expel Harm, your selfhealing via Gift of the Ox, and your selfhealing via Tier 2 talents. The stat priority section could use a little more detail on what exactly each stat does for a brewmaster.
